There are countless ways to incorporate edibles into your existing landscaping or design for your future landscape enhancements. Simple additions such as blueberry bushes or dwarf cherry trees provide seasonal interest as well as the edible side benefits. Design elements such as raised beds, pots and containers can house strawberries, compact vegetables plants, herbs and more. If you are interested in raspberries consider installing a root barrier surround or mow around them so they don’t end up everywhere you don’t want them.
